An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 M struck Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday Evening, in accordance to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The NCS in a tweet said that the 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck of J&K at 10:23 Pm. Yet There had been no immediate reviews of damage from J&k.
Earthquake is about 348.5 miles away.
Srinagar, Mar 21 (KB): A 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan near the Tajikistan border on March 21, 2023 today, causing tremors that were felt in the nearby region of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the data accessed by the Kashmir Bulletin--(KB), the earthquake occurred at 16:47:24.5 UTC with an epicenter of 71.03°E 36.52°N and a depth of 184 km, according to initial data sources from GFZ.
“The earthquake also caused mobile service to break down in the valley, but there are currently no reports of any casualties or significant damage. Additional details about the earthquake are expected to be shared soon.”
